The Afferent Group has developed a thorough and proven method of developing the skills of our sales force which involves both a carefully graded modular training programme and continuous individual mentoring by senior sales personnel. 

The idea is that we can usefully engage and deploy even "rookie" telesales personnel and with appropriate mentoring over an extended period, hone and develop their skills steadily and incrementally, all the way through to senior field sales level.  The  approach is not unlike that of the master and apprentice system traditional in many other trades.  On the job experience is dovetailed with formal training modules throughout, all under the supervision of a senior sales person.

We know of no other company that nurtures and develops sales skills in a similar way. 

Formal milestones are recognised in terms of work carried out and salary as staff move through junior, intermediate, senior telesales, and junior, intermediate and senior field sales. Expertise and knowledge of a given industry is a requirement for progression to the senior levels.  In terms of career progression, our personnel migrate from making calls for existing client companies, to visiting and presenting to new potential client companies.   This is the GRAFT SalesStar Academy.
